Software installation of a new line of dryers

In the factory Electrolux Poland Sp. z o.o. Siewierz we have programmed and launched a new assembly line of dryers. Control of the line driver is based on Siemens S7-300 using the operator panel from Siemens. The line consists of tens work places. All of them are using SEW drives. The new line allows complete folding of many types of dryers. The product stays on the line from early stage to the packing of the finished product, which in the marked package leaves the production line.

The project included:

• the software for PLC Siemens S7-400
• the software for operator panel - WinCC Flexible
• parameterisation and commissioning of drives from SEW

Factory management Electrolux Poland Sp. z o.o. Siewierz department encouraged a quality of the new line of has ordered modifications to the line already in the workforce. Modifications included the replacement of journey tables to work hand-lift tables. These tables allow the passage and lifting the product by using designed and installed pneumatic drives from SEW. The second stage of the modification was to run an elevator connecting the two levels of working installation.
